地理位置

大學(xué)坐落于蘇格蘭的第四大城市鄧迪市的市中心，地理位置十分理想。鄧迪是一個大學(xué)城，依山傍海。去阿伯丁、愛丁堡和格拉斯哥只需一個多小時，到倫敦坐火車要 6 小時。院系相當(dāng)緊湊，除醫(yī)學(xué)和護(hù)理學(xué)院，其他系都在鄧迪市郊的一座校園內(nèi)。

學(xué)院設(shè)置

鄧迪大學(xué)共有7所學(xué)院，即藝術(shù)與社會科學(xué)學(xué)院、教育和社會工作學(xué)院、法律與會計(jì)學(xué)院、理工學(xué)院、約旦斯通學(xué)院和醫(yī)療牙科與護(hù)理學(xué)院及生命科學(xué)院。大多數(shù)進(jìn)行科研活動院系均被政府研究評估委員會認(rèn)定為4分或多或5分（5分是指研究達(dá)到國際優(yōu)異水平）。鄧迪大學(xué)在生化、土木工程、應(yīng)用計(jì)算機(jī)、設(shè)計(jì)、美術(shù)以及電視與影像等領(lǐng)域擁有突出優(yōu)勢、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、金融學(xué)、會計(jì)學(xué)以及工程學(xué)，均以其高質(zhì)量的教學(xué)和友好的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境著稱。特別值得一提的是，鄧迪是世界上擁有最多科學(xué)進(jìn)行探索癌癥的成因和治療方法的大學(xué)之一。

學(xué)生生活

全�，F(xiàn)有1.25萬學(xué)生，外國留學(xué)生占8%，歐共體學(xué)生占5%。大多數(shù)學(xué)生居住在校內(nèi)或離校園很近的大學(xué)宿舍。大學(xué)的教學(xué)設(shè)施、學(xué)生宿舍以及體育運(yùn)動設(shè)施和學(xué)生的社交場所均在校園內(nèi)，這就創(chuàng)造了鄧迪大學(xué)學(xué)生的集體意識和輕松友好的氛圍.

在鄧迪的生活費(fèi)用比在英國其它許多地方都便宜，每年大約需5000英鎊生活費(fèi)用，其中包括住宿、食品、服裝、娛樂、學(xué)習(xí)和去歐美等國旅游的花費(fèi)。大學(xué)保證第一年來我校就讀的外國留學(xué)生的住宿，住宿的形式有包餐公寓和不包餐公寓兩種。每周住宿費(fèi)從36～75鎊不等，而且絕大多數(shù)的學(xué)生宿舍都在校園內(nèi)，或校園附近。
